Elevation People Solutions are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering services provider. Due to continued growth and increasing project demand, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Installations Engineer to join their Coventry-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Install compressed air systems, including advanced piping solutions for manufacturing and industrial sectors, industrial gas, and process cooling systems and pipework.
Work with various pipework materials including threaded steel, aluminium systems, copper piping, and stainless steel including threaded steel, aluminium, copper, and stainless steel.
Fit specialist equipment for compressed air, nitrogen, and chilled water systems in industrial environments.
Collaborate with colleagues on large-scale industrial installations or operate independently on smaller service projects with team members or work independently depending on the project size.
Travel primarily across the Midlands to customer manufacturing sites, with some national installation projects requiring overnight stays (fully expensed) across the Midlands, with some national projects requiring overnight stays.
Ensure all mechanical installations meet strict safety, quality, and compliance standards in line with health and safety regulations is completed to high safety and quality standards in fast-paced environments.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Pipefitter, Installations Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer in industrial or commercial environments in mechanical installations or pipework fitting.
A positive, proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work unsupervised and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Adaptability to work both indoors and outdoors on manufacturing, food and beverage, or aerospace sites to indoor and outdoor work settings.
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship, with efficient mechanical fitting capabilities to detail and pride in workmanship.
Commitment to site safety, including adherence to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards and PPE requirements and following EH&S protocols.
CSCS SkillCard, IPAF (MEWP) Licence, and PASMA Certification (desirable).
Full, clean UK driving license (essential).
