Hours: Morning shift 40 hours per week

Salary: £15.50 per hour

Elevation People Solutions are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a market-leading fabrication company that specialises in high-quality steel structures. Due to continued expansion, our client is looking for a skilled Welder to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the production of industry-leading steel structures.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder with proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel components to a high standard.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

  • Assemble and fabricate steel structures according to design requirements.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet company and industry standards.

  • Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop.

  • Carry out maintenance and care of welding equipment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient in both MIG and TIG welding techniques.

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality output.

  • Good understanding of health and safety practices in welding environments.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.

  • Relevant welding certifications (desirable but not essential).
